Gillian James

Gillian James currently lives in Southampton with her husband, daughter, cat, two ferrets, two rabbits and two guinea pigs. Although she has northern roots she spent most of her childhood in Guildford, Surrey.

While she has been writing fiction since the age of twelve PHOENIX AND ROSA is her only published novel so far. She has degrees in Geology and Oceanography. At present she works as a learning support assistant at a special needs school, which she finds more rewarding than academia.
