After 20 years of training and mediating disputes, Pat Hirst shares her perspective on communication and relationship building in her debut work, In a Perfect World: Interpersonal Skills for Life.
Pat was born into a family of six children where she learned a lot about relationships and community. She spent 10 years in sales and marketing in the transportation industry. She became fascinated with ways to resolve differences fairly and that is what led her into workplace mediation. After doing nothing but workplace mediations for two years – she decided to get involved in the preventative end of the spectrum and began teaching and speaking about communication and conflict resolution. Pat is a speaker, trainer, and mediator. Through workshops, retreats and keynotes she shares strategies and tools to coach people to create the life they chose. She lives in Winnipeg.
