Patricia was born and raised in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She was the youngest of six children to Thomas and Kathryn Faulkner.

On Sundays, Patricia would attend St. John’s Episcopal Church in Portsmouth with her parents and her two sisters, Margaret and Kathy. To this day, Patricia and these two sisters have a devoted, solid bond.

Patricia met her husband, Harold, when he was stationed at Portsmouth Harbor Coast Station, New Castle, New Hampshire. They moved to Maine where Harold was born and raised. Patricia and Harold have been married for forty-six years.

Patricia and Harold were blessed with two beautiful, awe-inspiring sons, Thomas and Buddy, who married lovely women, Kerry and Jess. Patricia and Harold now have three fascinating, energetic, and delightful grandsons, Kelton, Gavin, and Gunnar.

One particular winter morning, Patricia was sitting at a desk, looking out the window, watching a predicted snowstorm. It was beautiful. Taking a sip of her coffee, she looked at the computer. She had just been looking over her family photos. Patricia thought to herself, Why not write a book to my family to leave them? I’m sixty-six years old. It’s never too late. I have never believed in saying the word, “failure.” So she started a book. She recalls that she didn’t have a clue what she was doing nor what was involved in writing a story.

Pat’s was an educational, challenging voyage. Despite the ins and outs, ups and downs, all the moments of rewriting, computer malfunctions, procrastinating, and just fitting in the time amongst everyday life, she is pleased and proud that, with God’s guidance, she accomplished this book to leave to her family. A legacy of love.

On her wall in her basement, Pat has a sign that reads Imagine, Dream, Believe. With passion, determination, and perseverance, anything is possible.
