Corey McCleery, thanks to his father's efforts, learned to read at a very young age, and fell in love with the written word, much to the delight of his public school teachers. However, much to their chagrin, he fell in with the disreputable genres of science fiction and fantasy, thanks to his mother giving him a copy of Harry Potter at a formative age.

Corey writes about themes of love, good, redemption, forgiveness, and faith, and occasionally sneaks in Biblical references when he can get away with it. Corey also tries to sneak dragons into his works, but they're much larger than Biblical references and much more difficult to smuggle in.
