Jon is a writer-editor who specialises in hybrid forms, sequences and collaborations, a “poet of fantastic inversions” . He won an Eric Gregory Award in 2012 and the Poetry London prize in 2014 and 2016.

With Kirsten Irving, he has edited and published a number of multi-author anthologies which bridge the gap between poetry and other genres, including writing on games and film, nature guides, activity books and comics.

He completed a PhD in poem-game hybrids in 2020, and book of his research, 'Dual Wield: The Interplay of Poetry and Videogames' will be published by DeGruyter in 2021.
