Dr. Joseph Opare was born in the nation of Ghana, West Africa. At 18 months relocated to Hempstead in London, England with his mother.

During the late 1970’s he moved from Hackney Wick to Islington, which is when he began to spiral out of control. Joseph began to use smoking, binge drinking and drugs as an antidote to his troubled home life.

He ran away from home and financed these bad habits by committing burglaries on shops and offices in the City of London. This culminated in his arrest, which left only one option for his mother.

In the Summer of 1984 Joe was sent back to Ghana to attend the Ghana National College, a boarding school on the southern coast of Ghana. The relocation had no effect.

Home had changed, but he continued to do exactly what he did in London. And after two years, there was still no improvement regarding Joe’s conduct. But then a dramatic turn of events changed his life. After stealing some Dutch Wax Cloth from an aunt, the insightful words of a schoolmate had a profound effect on Joe…

“Jesus loves you!”

With this 3 words his life was changed, and Joe was able to tearfully surrender his life to the lord, accepting him as saviour.

He went on to finish high school and continued his studies at Sekondi college. At this time he also discovered the power of fasting and prayer and began to cultivate a love for others. Soon Joe was performing duties as a prayer chaplain, counsellor and street evangelist.

While still in Ghana, he joined the international central gospel church under Pastor Edwin Donkor and Dr. Mensa Otabil. Not only that, he began motivating many students to live purposeful Christian lives and many witnessed the miracles God wrought through him.

After 4 eventful years in Ghana, Joe returned to England in 1989.

From 1995 – 2004 he served as a Missionary. His missions included North America, Antigua, Jamaica, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Martin and his hometown London.

Since then he had also ministered in Germany, Australia, Canada, Jamaica and Ghana.

He has an Honorary Doctorate in Christian Ministry, a degree in Digital Film and holds a diploma in Christian Education from the International Bible Institute of London. Also serving as a senior minister for Warrior House International, Joseph still directs his energy towards enlightening Christians and non-Christians on how to effectively incorporate positive spiritual values and principles for successful living.
