Amanda was born in the little town of Port Charlotte, FL. There wasn't much to do and being the second youngest of five children; she often found ways to entertain herself. Now I wish I could say that she had several friends, became head of the cheerleading squad and became a straight A student, but that would be a lie. The truth is she ran small social circles, really small...like three people. Cheerleading sucked and math sucked more, so the other two went out the window. She grew up imagining wonderful worlds where there was always conflict, a villain, and every villain needs a hero. Her first published piece was a short story in a magazine competition promoted by the school. It was a big deal for a third grader that blended in alot, but she got it. And while it wasn't an amazing piece, SHE WAS HOOKED.

Year's went by without any published work but the poems and stories just kept coming. Fast-forward through all of the awkward teenage years and she encountered her first love, her first villain. It was a rough marriage, an abusive relationship and a nightmare to say the least. But from that nightmare came a source of escape, an escape that introduced the heroes she'd dreamed about. Well, long story short, the marriage ended and she fell in love with one of those heroes. They built a life together and have six children between them. After living with one crummy job after another, Amanda moved to Idaho where she's chosen to embrace her past and pick up the stories that followed her all her life. And so The Annals of Anteoth was born. With the first book published and more in the works, it seems as if the epic journey is just getting started. Amanda intends to write until she stops breathing and when she's not writing she's usually gaming, reading or mothering....so much mothering. But as long as there is a story to be told, she will tell it and everyday is an adventure.
