Influences
Ralph Waldo Emerson, Jack Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, David Sedaris, Chuck Klosterman, etc.
Multi-genre author specializing in nonfiction. Travel and adventure memoirs, magical realism, philosophy. “I struggle with much in life. Writing is a cathartic escape from the day-to-day. I try to capture the weird, beautiful, and scary. Sometimes its fiction. Sometimes reality is more weird, beautiful, or scary than any product of the imagination.” Craig is an avid whitewater kayaker, a product of the Millennial college crowd, the American working-class, and the mentally-ill. He has been writing consistently since 2009, publishing his first book “River Class: A True story of the Reckless American Youth” in 2014, then again as a second edition in 2019. A second edition of his philosophy book “Dynamic Empiricism” is to be released by Christian Faith Publishing in early 2020.
