From a council estate in Glasgow, Scotland to the azure coast of Barbados, Michelle has overcome many painful and traumatic life experiences to emerge a true survivor with an empowering story to tell.

A mother of four and grandmother to one sweet little girl, Michelle is a born entrepreneur having owned beauty spas and launched an award-winning natural beauty line—Elise Marques. It was here that her deep desire to be of service to women was first ignited where she recognised that the incredible tale of her own life could serve as a potent message to women – you are infinitely more than your experiences.

In 2019 she embarked on “A Delicious Discovery Year” with her youngest that took her from New York to Vancouver and Barbados, where she completed the book. Previously published with the title This Woman and now transformed into Rebel Woman, this new edition is a reflection of her commitment to never getting comfortable – true transformation is only possible when you are prepared to grapple with the darkness before you can emerge more fully yourself than ever before.

Michelle guides women to 10X their impact, income, and their inner peace through her Emergence Leadership Coaching programme. Her clients include ultra-successful people who are serious about being at the top - and staying there.

A Movement for Women
Michelle’s big picture is to impact millions of women around the globe with her mission that invites readers of her book Rebel Woman to write a note to the next woman they want to inspire with the book. By building her movement she also plans to utilise her platform to stop child marriage and help keep millions of girls in education. Her company has helped bring much-needed funds to these causes.

Michelle is an unapologetic, fierce and authentic rebel. She leads from where she lives. Her life is a testament to what living with courage and purpose looks like.
