Shaun is the author of the epic fantasy series: The Celenic Earth Chronicles , which has battle and magic themes similar to Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and the Riftwar Saga. He has also published his debut horror novel, ‘Silent Hill: Betrayal’, set within the popular horror franchise but based on an original tale. He is currently working on another fantasy series, a new horror series, and a crime novel.

As a member of the Writer's Guild of South Africa, Shaun also writes screenplays for assignments and personal projects. His latest work is the sci-fi screenplay "The Space Drifter", which was submitted to and recommended by the Cinequest Screenwriting Festival.

He is the Director of Celenic Earth Publications, a publishing company based in South Africa that publishes books from and in countries all over the world. His aim is to spread as many people's stories as possible, helping writers achieve their dreams. CEP has expanded into several divisions that deal with books, music, games, film and comics.

Under Celenic Game Studios, Shaun and Andi Hodgetts run AIR Entertainment, a gaming news and entertainment website with the latest game Announcements, Interviews and Reviews

Shaun lives and works in Cape Town, South Africa, with his wife and two children.
