Her work has appeared in scholarly publications, newspapers, and magazines, including The San Francisco Chronicle, The Los Angeles Times, Seventeenth-Century French Studies, and the collection Religion, Ethics, and History in the French Long Seventeenth Century. Her first collection of essays was A Truth Universally Acknowledged: 33 Great Authors on Why We Read Jane Austen. She also serves as the Literary Director for First Comics.
