Eileen Frances Stevens is an American actress based in New York City. She is best known as the voice of Belldandy in Ah! My Goddess, her first major role in an anime series. She later received another lead part as Iris in Pokémon: Black & White. Other than anime and stage, Stevens has also done audio-books and commercials. She has worked on properties for 4kids Entertainment, DuArt Film and Video and NYAV Post.

From her website: I began using my voice at a very early age . Though at times shy, it was quickly determined I had a knack for talking, singing, and, because I’m half Irish, the gift of gab. These abilities led to my first role as an angel with one line in a school play. The next year I was promoted to a cardboard tree where I sang the coveted solo, "I'm a Little Pine tree" - modeled after "I'm a Little Teapot". Then it was on to my first starring role, as Baloo in the "The Jungle Book." Things were never quite the same after that.

I went on to perform and sing solos throughout middle school, high school, and college, where I received a BFA in Performance Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Even in St. Lucia, where I served as a Peace Corps volunteer and Red Cross instructor, I sang in a gospel choir and worked on plays.

Eventually, I ended up in New York City to pursue my artistic dreams and my academic dreams . Luckily, one of my first jobs was at the recording studio, Full House Productions, now CityVox. What was expected to be very part-time, very temporary, turned into a more than 6-year commitment. While there, I was mentored and not only learned the inner workings of a recording studio from the production side; I gained invaluable experience in front of the microphone, too. It was at Full House my voice had finally found its voice…in voice-overs!

Some of my experiences include countless roles in ESL programs, Japanese animation, cartoons, textbook narrations, children’s books, audio books, songs, video games, and promos. A few of these experiences can be found either in the Listen section of the website. Please check them out. Let me know what you think and if you’d like to hear more. Updates on all my latest projects will be posted regularly. One reason to check back and often!
