William recently relocated to breathtaking and traffic-free Athens, Georgia, from back-breaking and happiness-eviscerating Los Angeles, California, where he came mercifully close to making a living as a hired gun writing and editing copy for various commercial enterprises and creative endeavors. He began his lifelong roadtrip in the deprecated sands of Las Vegas, Nevada, and as a result of a military patriarch, and a subsequent unabated restlessness, has changed addresses fifty-six times in thirty-eight years. Fearing for his alleged future he succumbed to a degree in Graphic Design, which proved a path of minor resistance, and by no means a door-opening maneuver. These days he earns his pittance from a real-life Kafkan nightmare and daydreams about sitting behind his typewriter working on his fifth novel, playing the drums in a project that is disrespectful of homogenous time signatures, and conversing with his astonishing wife and his brilliant six-year-old stepson.

William’s synaptic meanderings have appeared on his website and: in technical form on WIRED.com and THALO.com, in memoir/novel form in A Selfish Man , in short story form in Rain Crow Magazine , will appear again next year in short story form in an anthology supporting the non-profit Mines Advisory Group , and finally, in voluminous letters to persons still enchanted with non-electronic communication. PS they almost never write back…
