Linda González

4.4/5 ( ratings)
Linda’s newest book is based on many years of coaching and life lessons and is called Breaking Through Your Own Glass Ceiling. It offers simple, proven prosperity practices to address power dynamics faced by BIPOC and other resilient, underrepresented communities. You can begin today to identify and uproot unhealthy patterns and replace them with consistent thoughts and behaviors to embrace a full-hearted life—even in environments that do not support your well-being. Many people attempt to navigate glass ceilings by reading self-help and motivational books that send the message that vision boards, meditation apps, and affirmations will compensate for exclusionary policies and laws. This book rejects the “one size fits all” approach to career development and self-care that leads people to internalize their own glass ceiling. If you are ready for a full-hearted breakthrough, this book can be your daily guide and inspiration.

Her memoir The Cost of Our Lives delves into secrets within the context of family dynamics, immigration, and the difficult road to healing and forgiveness. She is a storyteller and regularly publishes essays in journals, books, and online.

Linda is a bilingual life coach, writer, and organizational consultant with many years of experience facilitating and training groups of diverse participants in the non-profit, business, social justice, philanthropic, and educational arenas. Her purpose is to work with multicultural wisdom and inspire people to embark on a creative journey of love and healing for this and future generations.

Linda has a thriving practice as a life coach, assisting clients to discover and reach their important goals while taking into account the impact of conscious and unconscious biases still present in society. She is on the roster of coaches used by Windcall Residency Program. She has several books in progress based on her 20-year coaching practice with a focus on women and people of color.

Linda received a MSW from the University of Southern California. She received a BA from Stanford University. She also has a MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College. Born and raised in Los Angeles by parents from México and Colombia, she has called the Bay Area home for 25+ years and is inspired daily by her millennial twins.
