Aaron Philip Clark is a native of Los Angeles, CA. He is a novelist and screenwriter. His first novel, THE SCIENCE OF PAUL: A Novel of Crime , was published in 2011. The debut was met with interest and acclaim. Clark followed THE SCIENCE OF PAUL with A HEALTHY FEAR OF MAN which was published the following year. Both novels featured the morally plagued and emotionally damaged ex-con turned reluctant sleuth, Paul Little, as he fought to escape the perils of Philadelphia street culture and return to his deceased grandfather’s farm in North Carolina.

Clark's third book, THE FURIOUS WAY, is a novella about an aging hit-man helping an orphaned girl seek justice for her murdered mother. Together, they work to take down the supposed killer—a Los Angeles Assistant District Attorney. THE FURIOUS WAY was published in May 2019 by Shotgun Honey.

UNDER COLOR OF LAW is Clark's fourth novel and it's inspired by his experiences in the LAPD. It will be published by Thomas & Mercer on October 1, 2021.
