Aretafila Savini de' Rossi was a late 17th/early 18th-century Italian poet, philosopher and painter. Born in Siena in 1687, to aristocratic parents - Antonia Savini and Margherita Conte - she married Florentine nobleman Isidoro Rossi, and made her home thereafter in Florence. Here she was befriended by the celebrated philologist Anton Maria Salvini, who wrote a 1714 tract in her honor. She attended many literary salons, both in Siena and Florence, and was a member of the Arcadia Academy in Siena, under the name of Larinda Alagonia. She was recognized as a painter and poet of some skill within these circles.

Rossi is most famous for her Apologia in favore degli Studj delle donne, written in 1723, in which she argued in favor of the education of women.
