Jessie Mae Hodsdon was fourteen when she drafted Issym, a Christian fantasy novel for pre-teens. At seventeen she formed Rebirth Publishing and released Issym with the intent to offer adventurous reading that was safe for the whole family, a category of books in short supply. Asandra was released the following November. Xsardis, the third book in the Xsardis Chronicles, has a scheduled release of November 2011. Hodsdon has hosted writing workshops and youth group sessions, encouraging kids and teens to seize their youth. She currently attends Husson University and is spending the summer writing.
