Author & Illustrator. Tea lover & Stargazer. Julia enjoys the calm and subtle life of the countryside within an Enchanted Forest. There, nothing is impossible and limited only by the imagination. Born in the Arizonan desert, she grew up traveling around the world. Raised up as a military brat who later also became a military wife, she has lived across the oceans and continents, exposed to other cultures. If only she had her own spaceship, she would travel the cosmos. For now, she explores the possibilities of worlds through the art of storytelling.

Her favorite genres are Science Fiction, Fantasy, Fairytale Retellings, & Non-fiction. She has written and illustrated picture books and other kidlit, YA+, short stories and beyond.

Julia has a love for creativity, art, DIY projects, music, gaming, science, spirituality, and the written word. She believes in HEAs and magic. As a wife, she appreciates her husband's patience, support, and their growth together in life. As a mother, she encourages and nurtures her children's creativity. They are true inspirations.

Writing has been a huge part of Julia's life. She started writing and drawing around the age of twelve. Reading didn't come easy as a reluctant reader, but it never deterred her from being nose-deep in fairy tale books. Writing had become an outlet and an escape, but it has a deeper meaning to her as an adult. As a child, she was terribly shy and had the hardest time opening up to others. Her thoughts, imaginings, and voice found their way out through writing. The blank page being the canvas where she expresses her creativity. Creativity to her is like magic--sprinkle that everywhere!

Julia enjoys writing and sharing her work with her readers. She appreciates hearing their feedback and supporting her as an indie author.
