Candy Laine wrote her first short story at the age of 7 on some foolscap paper. That sheet is still preserved by her mother. It was the beginning of a number of poems, short stories and articles that found their way over twenty years into different magazines and newspapers.

Candy finally decided to compile a number of her short stories and articles in an ebook, and "Glimpses Through the Dream Catcher" was published. Her romance novella "A Week is Enough to Change Your Life" was written when a friend challenged her to write a Mills and Boone type of romance. It took three days to write and hooked Candy.

She's been writing and publishing short stories, novellas and novels ever since 2013 on Amazon Kindle.
