T. D. Harvey has been writing stories since she first put pen to paper. Having lived in Philadelphia in USA, Caerleon in Wales and Bristol in England she always returns home to Hampshire, England and sets much of her writing in that beautiful and historic county. In her previous career as a qualified Veterinary Nurse, her writing often revolved around animal stories and thrillers based in the Veterinary world. Today, she sees herself more as a dark fiction author. Although her writing spans many genres, it always errs on the darker side. She juggles her writing with a full-time Business Analyst career, looking after her two cats and three fish tanks, growing her own fruit and vegetables and managing a chronic pain condition, Fibromyalgia.

Ms Harvey has been published in two anthologies, Flash It!, an un-themed flash fiction anthology and Shades of Fear, fear themed short stories. She has several stories appearing in anthologies this year, including Writers' Anarchy III: Heroes and Villains, a multi-genre themed anthology; Sins of the Past, a collection of historical horror shorts; An Anthology of Pants, a fun anthology with a pants theme; and Anything Goes, an un-themed and multi-genre anthology. Ms Harvey plans to publish her debut novel, Paper Dragons and Shadow Demons, a dark fiction/horror/fantasy story about the things all children fear, in December 2014.
