Patrick Ryan is from Columbus, Ohio and started writing after college. After marrying Molly and living vicariously through the sports and activities of their children ~ Colleen, Michael and Patrick, Jr. ~ he ignited his writing passion, cranking out the popular short story collection, Blood Verse in less than a year, followed by Black Bed Sheet Books number one best seller, The Night It Got Out, the 70's period novella, The Maggots Underneath The Porch, a poetry collection titled, "Blood Poems of Blood Verse," with the addition of seven new poems. His most recent release is titled, Out Of The Shadows and a is a riveting nine story collection of horror/sci-fi short stories and novellas. He is currently working on several projects, including a Martial Arts Biography, a string of serial novels featuring a Warrior combating Demons, and a mainstream detective thriller. Patrick enjoys Football, Basketball, Baseball, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and most hard rock, and reading great authors. A practitioner of martial arts for over 25+ years, he holds a second degree black belt and is a huge fan of Bruce Lee.
