While this book was a bit dated, with the over use of "darling" and such, it was a really fun read. The main characters, Christina and Richard, we're very likeable, both were emotionaly tortured people with a hard past. Together they learn to live and love again. The secondary character were fun, the band of outlaws that worked with Richard and really didn't want a women with them. And Oscar Wilde, Christna's best friend was great. Plot was mundane. Dialoque was ridiculously cheesy. It's really interesting that Ms. O'Neal didn't have one word published till she married Bill Arnold, an egotistical film critic and writer himself. Get the picture?? It's actually pathetic that he has had to stoop so low that he is writing such abyssmal stuff. Oh well, they do have to keep a roof over their heads.
