The proceedings of the 6th International Symposium on Landslides, which took place in Christchurch, New Zealand, from 10 to 14 February 1992, contain papers on 5 General and 5 Specialist themes. The General Themes include landslide investigations, stability analysis techniques, stabilization measures, hazard assessment, and monitoring and instrumentation. The Specialist Themes are seismicity and landslides, landslides and reservoirs, open-pit mine slopes, slope instability in tropical areas, and landslides in Australasia. Proceedings Volumes 1 and 2 contain a total of 224 papers and Volume 3 includes an additional 64 papers comprising Theme Addresses, Panel Reports and late submissions.
