A basic intro to homeopathy, I didn’t learn anything new. But it was a refresher. It would be a good, quick book for somebody who wants to learn the basics of homeopathy. It is 100 pages and very quick. This book does not teach about specific remedies, or anything like that. It’s just to learn what homeopathy is and how it works. It would be a good option for somebody who is skeptical, the author is a true M.D. and Naturopath, and homeopath.
Concise, easy-to-read book that gives the background of Homeopathy, how patients are treated using this modality, what the prescriptions are, etc. Lots of interesting case stories interspersed between the studies and other medical information.
This is a very nice introduction to homeopathy written by a medical doctor. It covers all the basics of classical homeopathy including their many assumptions of the fragility of remedies and the need of a homeopath for successful treatment. It is written very simply and clearly so people who may be skeptical may understand the principles.
This was an intriguing read. While I didn't find the writing style engaging I was caught with the subject matter. I liked the fact that it was short, easy to read and got your toes wet. An excellent book for someone not too familiar with homeopathy. While I hadn't given the topic much thought until it was proposed for the family dog, in the end I found it had me wanting to delve deeper into the topic.
