Relationship is The Transformative Space: Living in The Not Yet

Relationship is The Transformative Space: Living in The Not Yet

Darryl Wooldridge
5/5 ( ratings)
Relationship is The Transformative Space examines proleptic spiritual transformation as desired by God for all human beings. The beginning point of spiritual transformation is an intimate love-relationship with God and humans, and free will in the garden. The end or conclusion is this beginning point restored in an elevated state for human fellowship and expression driven by a transformed life reflective of the experiential life of Christ in relationship with the Trinity. Freedom is only enjoyed by remaining in God’s chosen “place.” In this place or way, we are compelled by Christ’s life. More firmly, sin has no hold; that is, the sin problem of the fall in the beginning has been extinguished by Christ’s victorious incarnational work freeing us to an intimate relationship with God as friends. Transformed living provides a beginning freedom or the newness of life that is enjoyed in Jesus now .
Relationship is The Transformative Space argues that it is the life Jesus Christ would live in the embrace of the Father, if he were living our life in the present. Unbound from the limiting affects of sin, each of us, as image of God, has the capacity to model and live a glory-reflecting life in the image of Jesus. It is the beginning of what was lost in the garden realized at a higher level in the experientiality of Christ’s life.
Relationship is The Transformative Space further demonstrates that it is God’s reciprocated freedom in love for us that began in the garden. The transformed person, beginning now, in the end, experiences this same freedom with a larger capacity to dwell in the heights and descend to the depths and to be both great and small with God. Venturing further, this book argues that God’s free, intimate relationship with humans is his unfettered priority. Jesus models the intended, ultimate human in full communion with God. There is no exclusion of humanity in God. God’s deity now includes humanity, a humanity that experientially encounters the humanity of Jesus Christ in total. God no longer exists without us. Such a reality is the glorious now and carries us into the glorious eternity already begun.
