This is a fantasy adventure story for the whole family to enjoy, it is about a small rescue dog called, ‘Thai’.
He lives with his new family, in a fishing village on the east coast of Scotland.

Thai’s brand new family includes; Jessica, her brother ‘Captain’, and the cats, Willow and Gypsy; along with the children's parents, Sally and Tony.

Thai discovers that he has magical powers; and he has to come to terms with these gifts, and also how to use them correctly and wisely.

In this tale Thai is requested by the ‘Ghost of Dunnottar Castle’ to return to the year 915AD. The ghost, is the long-dead, Lord Protector of Scotland, Sir Calum MacDougal, and he needs Thai’s powers to help defeat an evil wizard, named Strachan MacPhail, and hopefully save Scotland and its people.

So, Thai and his friends; the cats and two other doggy friends, Zoe and Zak, together slip through a ‘rift in time’. Once there Calum befriends Thai and his friends, and they set off on their adventure.

They all have to confront Vikings led by the mighty Erik Redbeard; there is an army of ‘lost souls’, that MacPhail controls, and there is also Strachan MacPhail’s henchman, ‘Black’ Malcolm of Elgin.

You’ll be introduced, to a king, his queen, along with; whales, dragons, griffins and lots more, in this fantastic new story. This is the first in a series of adventures for Thai and his amazing friends; it is a tale to be enjoyed by all, and hopefully one that will be read, again and again … all about, Thai and his wonderful adventures.
