Not sense the last War of Succession had such wide scale war been wage within the borders of the Human Empire. Whole cities wiped for the face of existence. Brother has been pitted against brother. Father against son. Whole families have been divided in a war that looks to have no end. Long held enemies of the Empire have come to the aid of the false Emperor Richelieu and the Temple of Holy Light. The Standard Empiral Military had divided between the two camps. With only the Death Dealers remaining loyal to Empress Daniela, the Red Empress.
With an army of Second Generation Death Dealers and the Knights of Ida-ten as her only ground forces Maiha plans her campaign for retaking the Empire. First though she must deal with an oncoming attack in her home System of Hades. Even now as she relaxes from the First Battle of Hades she most now face the reality that she is truly outnumbered.
Help though is on its way, in the form of Reinforcements sent by the Imperial High Command Loyalists. They are not the only ones to arrive in system. A dark and deadly cloud is descending on Hades with only one mission. The death of the Red Empress Daniela and the Nakatoma Family. People bent on using the tactics of terror and hatred. It would be one such act that would finally force Maiha’s hand and push the War of Succession into a new and terrible direction.
A direction that will end either in victory or death for all.
