AS ADULTS WE FORGET

Decades of life experiences pile up and wipe away stacks of memories of our early childhood. But some scars remain. Children are often not aware of the consequences of their actions and can be cruel and insensitive. It’s our job to oversee and educate, to intervene and correct our young ones.

I’ve often felt different and have had difficult times because of that. God bless, I’ve turned out quite well ). I’ve dedicated this book to every beautiful little child that has ever felt different. I cherish each and every one of you in my heart, and bare fountains of love to you all. Remember that whatever it is that makes you different, that is also your source of strength. Embrace your uniqueness. God bless you all.

THE STORY

Sam is a young sea lion. He is also the new cub at Dogsville’s elementary school for puppies. On his first day of school, during playtime in the yard, he finds out his difference. His difference causes the puppies to cast him aside, and he finds himself quickly with no friends, feeling very lonely and very sad.

One day, during a swimming lesson, a puppy begins to drown. Sam, being a professional swimmer, rushes to his help. He drags the drowning puppy out of the water and saves his life.

The rest of the puppies observe the terrifying incident, which has fortunately ended well, and it serves as a valuable lesson—everyone is unique, and we should never be quick to judge.

They regret their actions, ask for forgiveness, accept Sam as their friend, and embrace his uniqueness.
