The Long Walkabout: New Edition

The Long Walkabout: New Edition

Jane Paul
0/5 ( ratings)
Jane Paul was born in England and went to Australia as a small girl. Since then she has travelled extensively throughout the world. Her early career was as a ballet dancer in Australia and Europe. When a serious illness ended that, she went nursing, qualifying as a registered nurse.

This in turn took her to some of the most remote areas of Australia. It was there that she developed her interest in indigenous culture, and her admiration for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, and the contribution they make to the welfare of those isolated communities.

Since retiring, Jane has been able to return to an earlier passion for writing. In this, her second book she pays tribute to those men and women of the Australian outback.

In her spare time she enjoys her family, pets, gardening, music and reading. She travels when she can and enjoys outings with friends. She says she intends to wear out' not rust out!
