This was not quite what I expected. I was looking more for the theory of how chords sound in progressions, and what patterns they show up in in various genres of popular music. That was talked about for the given examples, but they were more tabbed out sound-alike versions of popular songs organized by genre. I didn't really learn anything about what chords sound good in which sequences any more than I would by playing through a variety of pop songs, but there was a good bit more information her...
