One of his friends invites him to play softball with him and some of the older kids, although Kody isn't too thrilled with the idea. TODAY, I TOLD A LIE is a short story that focuses on the impact a lie can have on somebody that's little--even if the lie may not seem to be as major as what's really the issue at hand. Still, kids are affected by what they tell, or don't tell their parents. Kody is no different.
