In his travels warm-hearted Brogeen befriends two lonely children: young Brid, who wears a strange bracelet on her arm, and her brother Garry. With Madame Rose, a fortuneteller, and her husband, Professor Cornelius Mulrooney, they join Boss Leo's circus and are quickly embroiled in a series of strange and wonderful adventures, culminating in Brogeen's bringing the monster to visit the Queen.
