Jan Ehrenwald was born in Czechoslovakia, took a medical degree at Charles University, Prague & did postgraduate work at the University of Vienna. He practiced psychiatry & psychotherapy in Czechoslovakia '31-39, in England till '45 & in NYC starting in '46. Here he proposes a revised & expanded version of psychotherapy which integrates myth & science. Case histories are related to demonstrate both their brevity & effectiveness.
