A superhero book for beginning readers that explains how Batman became so awesome.
This book takes you to 'how' Batman became Batman. How he traveled all over the world all the various things and people he encountered and studied under to learn all the various things he studied. Then he combined all the things together to make things better. He knew he was gonna have to be even better because the evil men not only was evil but they were smart too. This was a really nice book to learn about 'who' Batman was and how he became. Even my adult special needs autistic son paid attent...
I really liked how it told the whole background story of Batman, clearly something I'd never heard before. It was also told well and made more interesting with the pictures, which is always the point of them - to add to the story, not just be there.

I am always weary of "The Story of Batman" books due to the fact that each say the same things as all of the others, except they all have some sort of twists in them that made them different.In this story, you hear the details of why Bruce Wayne chose bats as his inspiration for his disguise. As a young boy, Bruce fell into an under ground bat cave where he was trapped until his father could save him. With this information, this short-story showed more into Batman's history than many have before...
