As always, Eagleman's writing is lucid and often poetic. This book has a great analysis of why previous civilizations and how the internet (realistically) can help save ours. Very well-researched and he never takes ridiculous leaps or get too optimistic. Definitely worth a read-- it's quick and informative.
Very interesting ideas on the positive the influence of the net today. A counterpoint to so much negativity.
