New lifting rules for women".

The writing is intentionally humorous. The pictures are unintentionally so. (It was the times.) The exercises are well explained, and there are lots to choose from, as well as advice on organizing your routine. The chapter on how to keep fit on the road is a nice touch, and Arnie says I can work abs every day, so there!
Arnold's Bodybuilding for Men is an excellent resource to learn about weightlifting for health and fitness. Even in 2018 I found all the information in it relevant and actionable. Highly recommend it!
I've had this book for a few decades now, and though it didn't help me look like Arny, (thank goodness), it was a great place to set my coffee and smokes while working out.
Austrian-American athlete, actor, and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger’s late 20th century entry into fitness education after dominating the world’s bodybuilding stage in the 1970’s with a then record seven Mr. Olympia titles. Mr. Schwarzenegger (and modern bodybuilding) emerge from the same post-WWII rebuilding of the German mind, body, and spirit as Joseph Pilates and Lotte Berk, but with weighted resistance applied to the basic movements of Pilates and Barre (i.e. sit-ups, squats, etc.) as a
I wish I would read this in my 20s. It's an honest, straightforward, inspiring book into resistance / weight training from the best, with precise instructions and explanations to achieve your own personal goals.

He offers a really interesting perspective on bodybuilding. This book could have had more detail.
If you are struggling to keep up with your fitness goal or don't know where to begin the journey, read this book. It's a concise but well worth reading. The exercises plan is targeted for people who are not looking for competitive bodybuilding, but for those who are looking for overall fitness. The book takes you through the beginner to advance, and the best part is that the equipment required are very minimal and elementary as dumb-bell and bar-bell. You don't have to go to an expensive gym to
