An easy to follow guide to [a type of] Indian cooking. Very practical (provides ideal ratios for spices/herbs, for example) and explains methods of cooking to make the dishes easy to make.I also love that this is an official publication with an ISBN and all and is yet, even in its second edition, spiral bound. I don't believe the author's claims that their chickpea stew can pass as a beef chili, but I do imagine it's a tasty dish. I look forward to trying some of these dishes out this summer.
I like this book a lot. It has a recipe for the healthiest mixture of curry spice. Most are rather unhealthy, but the one in here is not so bad. Of course, by this definition Yogi tea is not so healthy, but since I drink that I would rather make Himalayan curry. It is also not so strong and is mostly a herb rather than spices (though it has the 2 main curry spices.)
