It was okay. The narrator, not so much.

This story I would have never have thought would be as crazy as it was! it should of been title the psycho man and the psycho women whom he loved. With out giving the plot away the author Keith Johnson starts the story in a more slow and dead fashion. I was almost ready to toss the book out because I could not see this story gaining any interest from me. However because I came so far in the reading and felt it necessary to finish the book the plot became more interesting as it turned a corner an...
This book is absolutely unbelievable. The plot was ridiculous! The beginning really caught my attention, I just knew this was going to be a GREAT read especially on my 1.5 commute to and from work. Boy was I wrong... and where did it go wrong? Right around 6 MONTHS! Why did everything occur 6 months apart... and then 6 months... 6 months later... he could have switched up the timing a little bit, why did everything happen 6 months apart? UGH! I lost interest right around the time he went to Las
This book was about a man named Nelson Kennard he was madly in love with a woman named Parris. But Parris was in love with money. Shenandoah seemed to be the right choice for Parris since he was successful and he wanted her. But just six months later Nelson was a millionaire 3 times over and looking for love. Unexpected things happen all after that one night Nelson caught Parris and Shenandoah together. What I liked about this book was how it went into detail and I can see everything that I read...

More like 1.5 stars.. Ok, I know that fiction is pretty much not "real" but this was way over the top. I think this is the most unrealistic story that I have ever come across in my life & that is saying something because I also read fantasy & sci fi. I loved the "Little Black Girl Lost" series so I thought I would give this a try. A few twists are ok but this was just pointless super drama which made the story impossible to get into.
This is indeed another one of Keith lee johnson's great masterpiece. I love this author. If his books are good you will know after the first page. After that you're hook. The mystery in this book keeps you guessing. The realty keeps you in check. I at several points I just knew sky would kill himself or one of his girlfriends. The author took the reality of everyday life and proved that there is good and there is evil, you just have to choose. Awesome suspense.
The Honeymoon is Over, by Keith Lee Johnson, gives you a viewpoint of two main characters, who's intentions were to have a lasting marriage, only to see that deception and preconceived notions, breaks the marriage apart. There were some parts in the book that were a little over the top, but I can imagine this on screen as a dramady (drama/comedy). There were a few twists that I really liked in the novel, and a nice ending.
This book is about a man named nelson who is basically going through a bad break up with the one women he loves. To find out that he could find someone he could love again, he didnt. On the other hand the women he once loved had a affair with a man named Shenandoah. To me this book is good for people that likes drama. I recommend this to all the people that likes this type of themes.
This book was really y difficult & slow to read at first, plus the language was a little much; why would a supposedly educated man speak in that manner? Plus it got really weird too, but had a lot of twists too it. Overall not a book I would really want to read again.
This book had so much promise. I could not connect to any of the character in this book. I felt that this book had no true direction. The main character kept saying he wanted love, but he always allowed his small brain to make all of his relationship decisions or lack thereof.
Drama, Deceit, Secrets, Bitterness, Revenge was a great recipe for a great story I enjoyed this.
Slow read for me.
This story is all over the place. It starts as a man scorned then ends up being a murder mystery. I feel like some of the plot was extreme but still entertaining.
Full of twist and turns. I loved it.
This has to be the craziest book I've read. There was just too much going on.
This book was interesting! I enjoyed it but at some point I felt Nelson was truly confused and needed to wise up. Overall a pretty good novel. In the end everything worked out!
I enjoyed this book. It really had many twists and it was definitely a page turner that kept me on edge as all Keith Lee Johnson books have been. Another good read
Crazy and entertaining
I loved this story all the way up to the end. The ending wasn't my preference and I thought it was just too diluted. But, overall, the story had me on the edge. Drama, drama, drama.
