Honestly, I have no idea what's going on in this manga anymore. It just feels like the author was dragging it out just to... drag it out, you know? Or maybe she had no idea how to end it? Maybe she got lost in all the twists and turns? I have no idea. But nothing makes sense anymore. And the giant panda's just painful. Luckily, there are only 2 vols. left in this particular series, otherwise I would've dropped it.
Strange volume. I loved the idea of Eiri waiting for Shuichi at the airport but through the entire manga Eiri calls Shu vulgar names and refers to him as a hole. Why does Shuichi still hang onto this guy? Make Yuki earn it Shu! The panel with Shuichi looking at Reiji and leaning in to kiss her was beautiful. I wished he had kissed her. I am curious about the music building blowing up. I wonder if that was some sort of insider joke. Is Eiri finally over Yuki? I hope so. Shuichi has a task to writ...
On the first page the author describes volume 10 as the most uninteresting volume so far. She was right. The new characters are annoying, the giant panda is lame, it feels like it has just been dragged on with bits of crazy thrown in to fill the gaps. I'm quite glad there's only 2 more to read.
I read this originally back in high school (2008-2010) and I forgot how much I hate Reiji. She's the reason this is getting a lower rating than the rest
"I just decided on my own that I wanted to meet you at the airport. I wasn't sure if you really wanted to see me, though. But then I thought... maybe you would. And since I realised I wanted to go, I figured then maybe I should."Yes. That's Eiri Yuki speaking. Please try to regain your balance."It's hard to be truthful sometimes. I respect the way you can always be so honest. I don't know if I can be that way... but I'll try. So... don't ever leave me again."Ahh. If only he wasn't leading you on...
Shuichi has arrived back home, with a few crazies in tow, to find Eiri waiting in the airport to welcome Shuichi back home. Is this his way of making up? And will Shuichi ever get Eiri to tell him he loves him? Not until Eiri moves on from Yuki Kitazawa! But luckily, Kitazawa's younger brother, Yoshiki the queer, has plans for those two and the ghost of his elder brother. Yoshiki looks like he could almost be Yuki Kitazawa's twin, and so he decides to break Eiri's heart and take his brother's gh...
i decided to go ahead and read this series out of order. it's okay, i did this with fushigi yugi, peach girl, fruits basket... but never from #2 to #10. meh, i didn't feel lost, so it was fine. it gives me some doubts about the series if i can skip 7 books, and feel like not much has happened. i know that's not true there was the whole adventure with ask, the reunion of shuichi's favorite band, the trip to america, and other stuff too... (i read all of the book descriptions before i had even fou...
To old and too disgusted by imbecility and lack of everything what makes story and plot logic and coherent. It should be comedy, well perhaps it is and there is huge cultural gap and age gap, which prevents me to give this manga any good review. It should be comedy, perhaps it is.The utter fails are comments from author. Getting more and more horrible. The end is nearer and nearer.
The sheer insanity and inanity of this manga is actually kind of impressive. I'm glad I found a new home for these books, otherwise I just might have thrown them away. I honestly have no idea whatsover why this series was ever popular. I'll finish it because I still have all the volumes here, but it's more because of morbid curiosity than anything else.
Yaoi or boy-on-boy love manga. It was the first and only series of that genre that I have read, and was utterly hilarious. It had great funny, sentimental, and sad moments. A lot of fun to read, and quite unpredictable. The art was a little lacking, the only reason for 3 stars instead of 5.
Started out cute and funny enough, but somewhere in the middle of this series it gets waaaay to wacky and convoluted in the bad way.
Funny, crazy yaoi manga series
En este tomo me enojé mucho con Eiri porque se comportaba realmente como un maldito, trataba a Shuichi como si fuera una persona cualquiera con la que sale, como si no le importará.
Yeah I think I need to take a break from manga. Anyway, this one was, well, okay. Art wasn't that bad and looks like the MC gets into some awkward moments. Okay volume.
2.75 stars. Lack of panda made it better, but Yuki is a dick.
