This book includes gorgeous photographs of various rooms designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Each room is featured in a two page spread with a brief explanation of the location, Wright's design intent and design elements. The major drawback of this book is that only one photograph is provided so in many cases you get insufficient perspective to judge the design's success.
This is a wonderful coffee table book. Great photographs and a very good review of the most important architect in North American history. I really enjoy his prairie style work and it was good to review his other projects
Beautiful full-page photography of these rooms, some of which don't exist anymore and others of which are not open to public viewing.
This book made me want to visit each of Mr. Wright's creations. I would like to have seen more than one room per location; nevertheless the pictures were beautiful and the descriptions convinced me even more that Frank Lloyd Wright was a genius.
Stunning photos but the text was dry and sparce on info.
Interesting pictures, but I don't think I appreciate Wright's design as much as many do.
Very nice illustrations and descriptions in this book. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a quick synopsis of FLW's work and philosophy. Having had a chance to study his work and to see some of his homes before finding this book, it was nice to see a collection of photos in the order that Diane Maddex provided in this book.
