Got this from the SF neighbor who was an artist, older gentleman, cool guy. Loved this night time velvet art on different objects like the trash can lid.
Ok, it's a book of shoes..... Not the most in depth of books.Interesting in a few places, good pics = OK

I wasn't sure until I read "Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations" how much alike the two designers were. Of course they're both Italian and feminists with artistic and intellectual leanings but the fact that they also explored "hard chic," "ugly chic," and "naif chic" was a revelation to me.
