In the final days of war, the Aronodian Empire has laid waste to the Kingdom of Virhan. Virhan’s tyrannical ruler, the Crow King, refuses to accept defeat and employs every cruel tactic he can to keep his throne.
After one of the most bloodied battles in the war, an exiled Mage uses forbidden necromancy to bring back the souls of five great warriors from the realm beyond. He tasks them with acquiring a relic of the old world, a weapon that is said to fight back against the Lord of Death. He is a vengeful god who has traverse into the mortal realm to reclaim the souls stolen from him.
If that wasn’t enough, the weapon they seek resides within the Crow King’s keep, standing in the centre of the capital city, soon to be brought to ruin by the approaching forces of the empire.
Will they be able to find the relic before the city is sacked, or will the Death Lord catch up to them first?
Time is against the forlorn companions in this tale of dark fantasy from Danny Hughes author of the psychological horror; ‘Before Dusk’ and the science-fiction horror ‘Ouroboros’.
