I really liked it a gripping storyI liked the book a lot read I read it three times it is one of my favourite books a really nice classic book
I loved that this book told the story from the horses point of view. The adventures that he went through had me feeling all kinds of moods

Rating: 3.5 Stars This book is a reminder to us all that we should be kind to animals and treat them with respect. Black Beauty was a spirited horse but at times he was treated so poorly that it cut his life short. I rated this book lower as I wouldn't really call this timeless; The author wrote this book as she had quite a strong passion for horses and hated seeing them treated badly; she used it as an example of how to better care of them and act around them. Unfortunately I don't get to ride
Charming book from a horse's point of view. I enjoyed it a lot, but I also really like horses. All the characters are so open and earnest about what's on their mind, which might bother some people as it's not overly "believable" but I thought it was sweet and enjoyed reading about so many people who thought so kindly of horses. It's a very earnest book.It actually made me like the movie adaptation a bit less. I prefer Ginger as a world-weary older mare with no romance between her and the younger...
The book black beauty is written by Anna Sewell in the middle of the 19 century, it is about a black horse get treated differently by different masters.At the beginning, the black horse was grow and sold to different wealthy owners. But after the Black Beauty is getting hurt and he is becoming weak, his prize cheap and gets bad treatment by different masters. At last, the black beauty is tired and old, finally, a owner bought him and he was the first owner of the black beauty.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ed it. The ending actually brought tears to my eyes. A little embarrassing as I was reading this at work at my desk
Another story that i don't like it , but I have to teach it for my lovely students ..I go out of my way for you! .Lol 😂
The book achieved its aim to "induce kindness, sympathy and an understanding treatment of horses.

I listened to the audio "Black Beauty Young Folks' edition" 9781518925535.I LOVE LOVE LOVE the story of Black Beauty and have ever since I read it as a kid. I also had an audio version on cassette tape, but I have no idea of the narrator (I recall he was very good).This version is not good. BB is SO good, it should never be abridged!! I read this for the 5th grade 40 book challenge. I can’t believe I’ve never read it before..so good!
I don't like to read books or watch movies based on animal torture. I am very sensitive towards animals. Thus, reading this was an insight into a horses life, but it was also depressing. It is nicely written and will work for people who are numb to animal torture.
Every single person should read this book. I learned so much about horses, and much about people as well. The lessons taught between these pages are priceless. I did myself a favor and so will everyone else who opens it. Also I appreciated the easy length of each chapter, they were no chore to read. Such a timeless story. Easy five stars.
I never knew I could enjoy reading a book on a horse, or animals! After all, I am an African woman, and it is no secret that we generally hardly care about animals, (which is different from mistreating them). But this book is so powerfully and convincingly written that I even began to wonder whether the horse(s) actually wrote this book!? I guess I am lucky to have read this book as an adult now with my own kids; if I had read this as a youngster I am sure I’d have sworn the animals were telling...
I loved this as a child and then have equally enjoyed it reading to my own children - such a beautiful book, you’ll never look at horses the same after reading this
Love the story - but...I have always loved the story of Black Beauty. I was sad that this edition left out some, for me, key events.
