As a relaxing experience you could probably get more enjoyment from licking walls but to pass the ridiculous and ill-concieved Life in the UK test (sadly, adopted from my home country, Australia. Positively epic, with larger than life characters!
If I could in good conscience give this book 5 stars, I would. But, as Goodreads tells me 5 stars means 'it was amazing,' I can't really do that: it is, after all, just a textbook for people about to take the Life in the UK test for citizenship or leave to remain in the UK. This was a fine study guide, and I did pass my test on the first try. I bought it along side the actual required text, and I have to say I didn't use this one that much. It basically summarized what the required text was saying, and it seemed unwise to study from anything but the source. It did, however, have a useful list of dates that I needed to memorise that made it worth it.
