Epiphany in the Desert Wind

A short story set in Los Angeles circa 1969, Epiphany chronicles the conflict between drug-fueled mystics and rational realists whose use of drugs is recreational. There's a little humor, a lot of conflicted relationships, and of course lots of drugs. This is, after all, LA in the late sixties.

The story was written in 1975 and won a prize that year in a contest at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California. The story was revised by the author in 2008, but changes were minimal.
