A great book and not just because I have a story in it. My story here, "Be Mine" is my tip of the hat to one of my favorite authors, but I can't say more than that without giving stuff away.

I took it upon myself to start this book at the beginning of the year and read the appropriate stories as their holidays approached. I even managed to read almost all of them on time (minus one or two due to holiday festivities/wedding hoo ha)!It was a super fun “goal” to look forward to throughout the year and helped me get into the spirit for the upcoming holidays! So, I can't believe I'm saying this, but too much Lovecraft copy cats can be a bad thing. Not all of the stories are homages to Lovecraft, but there is enough (and some not so good) to be annoying (I started rolling my eyes). And I read this collection over a time period of a year. I read the stories around the holidays they were based as it was meant and enjoyed a good bit of them. There are enough good stories (and good homages to Lovecraft) to make this collection worth your while if you are
