Impressive book. For the most part the quality of the pictures is good, excepting a couple blurry frames. The text is maybe a little too referential towards Horiyoshi III, but I guess if you were writing a book on what is ostentensibly your boss it may get a bit heavy handed as well. But, if you love technique, history, and traditional japanese tattoos the above listed faults are merely quibbles. Plus the book is nice and big, paperback, so it feels good in your hand while you're examining the
