Hecuba and her daughter, the ill-fated Cassandra, and the fallen city's women mourn the loss of their fathers, husbands and sons whilst the Greeks decide which of them they will take back to their homeland as prisoners of war.
This book was translated from the original Ancient Greek by Gilbert Murray OM together with some notations at the beginning of the 20th Century.
The book has been annotated in a less academic style for students to make the story clear and more easily understood.
