MAKE EVERY MOMENT A LEARNING TIME FOR KIDS is a story that shares part of a mother’s journey with her daughters and why it is vital to use every moment with our kids as a teaching and fun moment since they will soon become adults. The story stresses the importance of thanksgiving, allowing kids to be kids by being messy, and expressive, taking responsibility, showing kindness, showing love to people who look different from us, and appreciating everything that comes with gratitude as an integral part of a child’s early growth. All these lessons are done via a mantra, “Strived for 5”. This mantra is used to engage in open-ended conversation with kids and is a perfect way to pick a child’s brain exceptionally when they have returned from school or an event. Above all, this mantra is often a great way to help kids become expressive, sound, and public speakers. The book also encourages parents about the importance of self-care and cultivating a positive mindset in our everyday lives. As a parent, my goal has always been to raise my daughters to be confident, independent, communicate freely, freethinkers, loving, affectionate, and caring human beings that regardless of circumstances, will treat everyone with dignity and worth.
