Grace and the mercy of God are all around us. Even though it may not always seem that way. Those who claim to have never seen God, simply were not looking in the right place. Or, as it is in many cases, they were looking right at him, and simply did not realize it. Virtues, is a collection of poems that hope to inspire, as well as provide a moment of reflection. It also includes a collection of short stories that demonstrate the presence of grace in everyday situations. All too often, God is expected to come with sounding trumpets and a blaze of glory. In expecting such spectacle, we often miss the small simple ways that he communicates, and helps us in our time of need. This book attempts to offer a simple, friendly view of God's work in our everyday life.
